A primary role of a salon manager is to oversee daily operations and manage staff. This includes ensuring that the salon runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, which involves coordinating various aspects such as staff schedules, training new employees, and maintaining a positive work environment. The salon manager is also responsible for handling administrative tasks, resolving client issues, and making sure that all services meet the salon's standards. This comprehensive oversight is crucial for maintaining efficiency and productivity in the salon environment, allowing stylists and beauticians to focus on providing excellent services to clients.

While providing hair coloring services, managing client appointments, and creating marketing strategies are important aspects of running a salon, these tasks are typically delegated to specific roles within the team rather than being the primary responsibility of the salon manager. The manager's focus is more on the overall operations and team dynamics rather than performing specific services or fulfilling singular tasks.
